Their primary responsibilities include managing store managers, ensuring operational consistency, meeting sales and profitability targets, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Job description

Welcome to TBHC Delivers®! We are a God-centered organization dedicated to one goal: to be a blessing to those we serve. As a District Manager, you are the heartbeat of our operations, leading, developing, and holding your team accountable while driving profitable growth, operational excellence, and outstanding customer satisfaction across your territory. As the largest distributor of Hunt Brothers® Pizza, we take pride in delivering high-quality products and services that are loved by customers nationwide. You will own the full performance of your district - people, sales, safety, fleet, and execution - with the autonomy to make decisions and the accountability to deliver results.

This role is field-driven and hands-on, you will coach, problem-solve, and set the standard for a culture of excellence that shapes frontline engagement and elevates the customer experience. Your leadership directly impacts both your team and those we serve. If you thrive on responsibility, purpose, and creating high-performing teams while serving others, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

This role includes:

  • Leading & Developing People
    • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop the district team
    • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable
    • Conduct regular ride-alongs, 1:1s, and performance reviews
    • Build a strong internal bench for future leadership roles
  • Drive Sales & Growth
    • Own district sales results for new, existing, and same-store accounts
    • Execute growth initiatives and new account launches
    • Use data and reporting to identify trends and take action
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure execution of company standards and processes
    • Oversee inventory management, fleet performance, and cost control
    • Maintain safety, DOT/HOS compliance, and audit readiness
  • Customer Leadership
    • Serve as the escalation point for customer issues
    • Build relationships with key accounts through reviews and meetings
    • Represent the company professionally in the market

Why This Role Is Different:

  • Real Leadership Development: You won't find stronger support for leadership development. We invest heavily in our District Managers because your success determines the success of the frontline team. You'll receive hands-on coaching from leaders who have done this job themselves and understand the realities you face every day.
  • Ownership & Autonomy: We trust our District Managers to run their districts. You won't be micromanaged. You'll have the authority to make decisions that are right for your people and your business — with leadership support when you need it.
  • Full-Scope Business Leadership: This role gives you responsibility for both new business growth and existing account performance. You'll lead Account Managers, partner with business development, and stay connected to key customers through business reviews and account meetings. It's a rare opportunity to gain experience across all aspects of a growing business.
  • Field-Driven, Not Desk-Bound: This is not an office job. You'll spend meaningful time in the field — coaching, problem-solving, and building relationships with your team and customers.
  • Challenging — and Worth It: We're a lean organization. You'll be pulled in multiple directions. But the mission is clear, the work is impactful, and the role is deeply rewarding for leaders who thrive on responsibility and purpose.

What You Get When You Join:

  • Competitive Base Salary with Quarterly and Annual Incentives- Salary range up to $120,000 annually.
  • Paid Time Off
  • Independent work environment where you're accountable for your own time and results
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits – plus 401(k) with company match
  • Company-paid disability and life insurance
  • Annual holiday weekend celebration in Downtown Nashville to recognize the year's successes and celebrate our team members…Travel expenses are Company Paid!
  • Free pizza!
  • Growth & Opportunity: We promote from within — over 90% of our leaders started in field roles. While turnover is low, when opportunities arise, we are intentional about preparing our leaders to step into the next role. You'll gain exposure, development, and coaching aligned with your career goals, and you'll report to leaders who have walked this path before you.
  • Rewards & Culture: You'll be recognized and rewarded for your contributions. We take a personal interest in our people — their growth, their families, and their success. There's a strong sense of camaraderie here, and you'll work alongside leaders who value frontline perspective and stay grounded in our values. As a God-centered organization, our mission is simple: to be a blessing to the customers and communities we serve.

What does the role require?

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in distribution, DSD, sales, or operations
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable
  • Strong business acumen and comfort using KPIs and reports
  • Willingness to spend significant time in the field
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and resilience
  • Ability to run route to help support district needs. This includes:
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds (at times), bend and lift to rotate existing stock with new stock
  • Ability to climb into a large commercial truck, on average 40 times per day
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for three years, including no DUIs
  • Ability to meet Federal DOT medical certification requirements/driver eligibility to obtain/maintain a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
