Job Description Summary

This job requires unloading trucks in a safe and timely manner, keeping the receiving area clean and free from debris. Making sure fluming systems are operated correctly to avoid plug-ups. Maintain raw product flow into evenflow bins.

Job Description

  • Alwaysmaintainsafe work practicesandparticipatein safety programs.

  • Guide trucks into unloading positions.

  • Operates forklift to transport samples to ODA grading area.

  • Monitorevenflowlevels.

  • Flume raw product intoevenflowsby using the HMI program.

  • Complete CL's,CIL's, and FSIL'sfor your respective work area.

  • Enter indefects found in your respective work area.

  • Unloadstrucks,takesamplesandoperatereceivingequipment.

  • Accurately completes forms asrequired.

  • Accurately collects and labels raw product samples.

  • Daily sanitation duties.

  • Maintain a clean receiving area, which will include shoveling,use of high-pressure water hoses, and dumping of raw waste totes.

  • Inspect rawproductfor foreignmaterial.

  • Monitor waste pit water level.

  • Monitor wasteroomhopper levels.

  • Monitor water usage in Receiving.

  • Perform any other essential duties as assigned by Team Leader

  • Activelyparticipatein Company Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice Programs.

  • Maintaining and cleaning the silt room

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education/ Certifications:(Required & Preferred)

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

  • Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification arerequired. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.

Skills and Experience:

  • Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirementmay vary by location).

  • Must be able to be qualified withintime framesestablishedbyfacility.

  • Ability to perform basic mathfunctions,required.

Physical Environment/Demands:

  • Ability tolift upto50pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.

  • Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hottocold in temperature

  • Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours perwork dayto include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke,smellsand allergies

  • Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movementsrequiredfor job actions and procedures.

  • Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.

  • Requires manual dexterity, overallcoordinationand good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.Ability tooperatework related equipment

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Valid Driver's License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards

  • Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation

  • May have to sample food while evaluating Lamb Weston products

  • Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis
