Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of pipefitting techniques, safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The Pipefitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all piping systems operate efficiently and meet industry codes and standards.
Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of piping systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, gas, steam, or other substances
  • Perform pipe threading and cutting using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Use power tools effectively to assist in the installation and maintenance of piping systems.
  • Ensure all installations comply with relevant codes and standards, including fire sprinkler fitting requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of piping systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe installation.
