We are hiring a part-time Project Coordinator to provide support to our field staff! This position is temporary, running from the end of September 2026 to July 2027.
The ideal candidate will have a background in operational support, scheduling, or project tracking. The hours are flexible, with an anticipated schedule 7am - 1pm (depending on workload for the day).
Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage work order packet preparation.
  • Deliver work order packets to crews ahead of time, walking the job with them, obtaining answers to their pre-job questions.
  • Receive and manage completed work order packet documentation.
  • Enter completed work order packet data into customer's online portal.
  • Assist General Foreman and/or Superintendent with daily tasks.
  • Assist operations department in assessing jobsite readiness.
  • Manage 811 locate tickets.
  • Communicate with property owners about planned construction on their properties.
  • Coordinate with the customer's field representatives.
  • Create documentation for project extras and communicate with the customer.
  • Verify the accuracy of project paperwork from the field and the customer before it goes into the office.
  • Maintain an organized workload list.
  • Identify and report project progress.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Professional interaction and communication with internal and external customer.
  • Effectively respond to customer questions and concerns.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Use a smartphone or similar device for texting, taking and sending worksite photos, and email.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ year construction work or underground utility experience.
  • Associate's degree in business or a skilled trade.
