Pipefitter – Machine Tool Manufacturing Environment
- 2 Week Contract, Urgent Start

Candidate is highly experienced performing the following pipefitting activities independently with minimal supervision in a machine tool and industrial automation environment:

Pipefitter Skills & Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematic drawings
  • Read mechanical assembly drawings and bills of material (BOMs)
  • Build, thread, and install pipe headers
  • Install service stands, lockout valves, and related piping components
  • Pipe robotic systems and sealer equipment
  • Prepare and assemble valve packs and manifolds
  • Route, install, and dress hoses and tubing to customer specifications
  • Drill, tap, and ream holes as required for installation
  • Perform mechanical assembly and piping modifications during machine builds
  • Utilize hand tools, drill presses, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively
