Job Type: Full-Time (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)

Salary: $38 - $44.00 per hour

Location: Along the Wasatch Front, Salt Lake to City to Syracuse.


Job Summary:

Industrial Piping & Welding is seeking a seasoned Pipefitter/Boilermaker with a solid background in installing a variety of piping systems. This role requires precision, expertise, and a commitment to safety as you work on critical projects involving carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping in mechanical rooms, boilers, and chillers.


Responsibilities:

  • Install carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping with high precision.
  • Strong ability to do tacking work
  • Work on mechanical rooms, boilers, chillers, and other related systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to accurately lay out and install piping systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in threading and installing threaded pipe.
  • Engage in threading and installing threaded pipe. .
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure tasks are completed to specifications.
  • Collaborate with a team to ensure that all installations meet the required standards.


Qualifications:

  • Competent pipe fitting skills, including the ability to measure and layout from prints.
  • Extensive experience with mechanical rooms, boilers, chillers, and related systems.
  • Industrial experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with operating pipe threading equipment and forklifts is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
