Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipefitters for projects located in the Alameda, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $36/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Marine Pipefitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:          

  • Repair, modification, and fabrication of onboard ship piping systems including fuel, cooling, lube oil, gray and black water, fire main, potable water, exhaust, hydraulic, and compressed air systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Identify pipe sizes and materials
  • Install and remove pipe supports
  • Create field layouts
  • Silver brazing pipe
  • Threading and tube/pipe bending,
  • Hydrostatic and pneumatic low-pressure testing
  • Create inspection reports
  • Use power tools such as grinders, bandsaws, drills, impacts, etc

  • Marine pipefitting experince or 2+ yeats of recent and consistent industrial pipe work experience
  • Pass a drug screen
  • Must have OSHA 10 maritime and firewatch certifications
  • Must have respirator certification
  • Basic hand tools
