Summary of Primary Functions: Directs crane operator and guides members to proper location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.

  • Measures member locations, sets vasco pads or shims (depending on members being set).

  • Guides members to location while directing crane operator with hand signals.

  • Pries members with a railroad bar until member is in correct location, putting additional shims under member until plumb.

  • Places pipe clamps on wall panels until panels area welded into position.

  • Drills hole in foundation, hammers red in hole, places column support brace over red-head, bolts the brace to the foundation and column and then plumbs the column with the transit.

  • Burns loops off the tops of columns, set beams on top of columns and bolts beams into position and fills bolt connection with grout.

  • Helps assemble, disassemble and relocate crane.

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.


Job Specifications or Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Previous experience in finishing concrete is required.
