The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and trouble-shooting tasks for equipment at the Seminole Mill. This position requires the flexibility to work in a multi-craft role and contributes to accomplishing results in a team-based environment.
(New employees commonly earn $42.33/Hour - plus OVERTIME with yearly increases.)
How you will impact Smurfit WestRock:
  • Create maintenance requests for repairs based on findings with equipment in the mill.
  • Perform maintenance tasks for equipment within the mill.
  • Work as a team with other maintenance team members.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Extensive experience dealing with basic industrial safety topics such as lockout, fall protection, confined space entry, personal protective equipment, and guarding.

What you need to succeed:
Extensive industrial experience in at least 1 of the following areas is required:
  • Millwright (laser alignment skills required)
  • Pipe fitting
  • Machinist
  • Welding

  • Standing for extended periods.
