Pile Driving Laborer - HIRING NOW
Location: Green Cove Springs, FL
Company: Southland Holdings
Southland Holdings is actively seeking motivated and dependable Pile Driving Laborers to join our team in Green Cove Springs, Florida. This role supports pile driving operations and requires hands-on experience with sheet pile, pipe pile, H-piles, and concrete piles.Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the setup, alignment, and installation of pile driving templates
  • Support rigging operations for hammers, sheets, and pile materials to ensure safe handling and placement
  • Guide and position sheet piles during installation, securing them to templates using clips, come-alongs, and other tools
  • Work alongside surveyors and supervisors to help maintain proper alignment and location of each pile
  • Ensure materials are installed plumb and to proper elevation under supervision
  • Assist in the safe removal of templates after pile installation is complete
  • Perform general labor duties including material handling, site cleanup, and tool maintenance
  • Support torch cutting and welding activities as directed
  • Follow all safety protocols and assist in maintaining a safe job site
Requirements
  • Experience working with sheet pile, pipe pile, H-piles, or concrete piles preferred
  • Construction or heavy civil labor experience required
  • Railroad project experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a crew
  • Strong awareness of job site safety practices
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
