Perma-Pipe in Hebron, OH is hiring Multi-Level Pipefitters!
We're looking for a skilled Multi-Level Level Pipefitter to work in our fabrication shop. You will be responsible for assisting in the layout, fit-up, and welding of pipe assemblies in support of production schedules. This role requires basic proficiency in Stick/Mig Welding (SMAW/GMAW), the ability to read blueprints, and the physical endurance to work in a demanding, temperature-variable environment. The Pipe Fitter positions are a three-tier pipe fitting career path, with clear advancement based on skill, productivity, and knowledge. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for keeping production running smoothly.
This is an on-site, Hebron, OH based position and candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in laying out, assembling, and tack welding pipe components per blueprints and job specifications.
  • Perform basic Stick Welding (SMAW) tasks under supervision.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, isometric drawings, and work orders.
  • Support production demands by preparing materials and maintaining workflow.
  • Maintain work area cleanliness and organization in compliance with safety standards.
  • Work in shop environments with exposure to high temperatures in summer and cold conditions in winter.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and follow all shop safety rules and procedures.
  • Communicates with supervisors and team leads to ensure proper task execution and timeline adherence.

Qualifications
  • Basic proficiency in Stick Welding (SMAW) is required.

  • 0-2 years of pipe fitting or related pipe fitting experience. Entry-level role; prior exposure to welding or fabrication is helpful but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of hand, power tools, cutting torches and welding (Stick/Mig Welding)/(SMAW/GMAW).
  • Strong willingness to learn welding and pipe fitting.

Technician II:
  • 2-4 years of industrial pipe fitting experience or equivalent training.
  • Working knowledge of hand, power tools, cutting torches and welding (Stick/Mig Welding)/(SMAW/GMAW).
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment with limited supervision.

Technician III:
  • 4-6 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent certification.
  • Strong knowledge of hand, power tools, cutting torches and welding (Stick/Mig.

Physical Demands
  • Lift/carry: sedentary up to 10 lbs; light up to 20 lbs; medium up to 50 lbs regularly.
