We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Planner to support our maintenance and reliability team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution of work. The Maintenance Planner plays a key role in improving equipment reliability and workforce productivity by preparing complete work packages-including job plans, materials, tools, and documentation-allowing technicians to focus on execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain job plans and work instructions in SAP/CMMS.
  • Ensure parts, tools, permits, and safety requirements are ready before execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations to define job scope.
  • Conduct field walkdowns to validate scope, materials, and tasks.
  • Maintain and improve job plan libraries for recurring work.
  • Track planned vs. actual labor to improve planning accuracy.
  • Identify and escalate recurring equipment issues to improve reliability.
  • Maintain accurate asset, BOM, and maintenance data in SAP/CMMS.
  • Ensure safety compliance by integrating requirements and supporting contractor oversight.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Pipefitter experience is required. Including installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems, interpreting blueprints, performing welding, and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance on a routine basis.
  • Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Able to ascend/descend stairs.
  • Able to enter confined space.
  • Hazardous conditions involving the use acids and caustics.
  • Ability to handle potential allergens.
