Pipefitter – Contractor (Formosa Plastics Refinery Plan)t
Location: Formosa Plastics, Point Comfort, TX
Pay: $30-$35 per hour (Based on Experience) – No per diem
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; Friday overtime

**LONG TERM POSITIONS**

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Pipefitters to join a project at Formosa Plastics. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and be skilled in measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes according to specifications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and isometric drawings
  • Cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required angles
  • Installing and securing pipes using proper fittings and tools
  • Working with carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems
  • Ensuring compliance with refinery safety and quality standards

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of pipefitting experience (refinery experience preferred)
  • Must pass a hair follicle test and Health & Safety Council courses
  • TWIC card required (or must be eligible to obtain one)
