Job description

Job Post: Pipelayer / Pipe Crew Foreman (Commercial Sitework)

Company:ย HarCon
Location:ย Palm Beach County, FL (projects extending to St. Lucie County)
Employment Type:ย Full-Time

HarCon is seeking experiencedย Pipelayersย and/or aย Pipe Crew Foremanย to support our growing sitework and utility installation operations. Projects are primarily commercial, with some private residential work.

We are looking for individuals with strong field experience in underground utilities who can contribute to efficient, high-quality project execution.

Position Options

Option 1: Pipelayer

Requirements:

  • Minimumย 5+ years of experienceย in pipe installation
  • Experience with:
    • Watermain
    • Sanitary Sewer
    • Drainage Systems
    • Fireline Installation
  • Ability to read plans and grade stakes
  • Knowledge of trench safety and OSHA standards
  • Experience working in commercial site development preferred

Option 2: Pipe Crew Foreman

Requirements:

  • Minimumย 2+ years experience as a Pipe Crew Foreman
  • Minimumย 5+ years experience as a pipelayer
  • Experience with:
    • Watermain
    • Sanitary Sewer
    • Drainage Systems
    • Fireline Installation
  • Proven ability to lead crews, manage workflow, and coordinate with project managers
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and jobsite compliance

Responsibilities (Both Roles)

  • Install underground utility systems per plans and specifications
  • Ensure quality control and proper installation methods
  • Maintain a safe and organized jobsite
  • Coordinate with team members and supervisors
  • Operate tools and equipment as needed

Additional for Foreman:

  • Supervise and direct pipe crew
  • Manage daily production and crew performance
  • Coordinate inspections and scheduling
  • Communicate with project management

Work Environment

  • Outdoor construction sites
  • Primarily Palm Beach County, with some travel to St. Lucie County
  • Commercial sitework with some residential projects
