As the Healthcare Consulting Senior Director in Patience Experience, you will:
  • Lead complex performance improvement engagements, creating collaborative, high-performing environments and ensuring successful client outcomes.
  • Manage engagement-wide economics, including budgets, revenue forecasting, margins, invoicing, and billing.
  • Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to quantify benefits, identify risks, and develop solutions for performance improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively to understand client challenges, create customized solutions, and manage client expectations, delivering impactful presentations and proposals.
  • Build strong executive-level relationships, lead change processes, and identify new business opportunities, leveraging Huron's capabilities to meet client objectives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of healthcare consulting, hospital operations, or performance improvement experience, including leadership of process redesign, change management, operational transformation, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex healthcare consulting engagements and implementation efforts focused on patient experience.
  • Strong understanding of patient experience measurement methodologies (including CAHPS), patient experience analytics, and key drivers of consumer experience across inpatient, emergency department, medical group, support services, and payer settings.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of complex healthcare delivery systems and key performance improvement opportunities, including access, throughput, care progression, care coordination, quality and safety, reduction in length of stay, and reducing readmissions.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop individuals and teams, and independently facilitate training and educational programs for clinical and non-clinical leaders in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings.
  • Willingness and ability to travel every week up to 50% (Monday-Thursday with occasional onsite Fridays) and work extended hours as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • US Work Authorization required

  • Experience in a matrixed organization or cross-functional team environment

The estimated base salary for this job is $225,000 - $275,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $292,500 - $357,500. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
