Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to prevent disabilities, alleviate pain, and enhance muscle function based on individualized care plans established by referring physicians.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of client functional levels using diagnostic tests and assessments, ensuring holistic procedures are followed for optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Supervise physical therapy assistants, ensuring they adhere to outlined care plans and have the guidance needed to deliver quality patient care.
  • Assess clients’ home environments, proposing adaptive strategies or modifications to encourage independence during rehabilitation.
  • Administer various therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modern physical modalities, tailored to individual client needs.
  • Evaluate, fit, and make adjustments to prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal usage.
  • Document clinical records meticulously, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, fulfilling compliance with OASIS and other regulatory standards.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights for overall client treatment strategies.
  • Educate clients and their families on therapy regimens, ensuring understanding and compliance with prescribed home exercise programs.
  • Foster a mentorship role by guiding and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, sharing best practices and innovative therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
