As a Patient Care Specialist II at our Martinsville, Indiana location, you play a direct role in supporting patient safety, structure, and long‑term recovery. In this role, you will partner closely with the Patient Care Manager and Executive Director to help establish and maintain a therapeutic, recovery‑focused environment for residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Associate degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Check in with the Patient Care Manager at the start of each shift to receive resident updates and assignments
  • Supervise resident care during assigned AM and PM shifts
  • Supervise patient medications, document all incoming medications, and coordinate with nursing and medical providers regarding medication compliance
  • Maintain resident schedules throughout the shift
  • Observe and ensure adherence to house rules and program expectations
  • Monitor resident chores and work projects
  • Facilitate didactic groups and assist with recreational activities that promote comfort, safety, and recovery
  • Model appropriate behavior and reinforce a structured, therapeutic environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
