This role is primarily conducted in a home care setting, allowing you to work directly with patients in their home environments. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical capabilities and therapeutic needs.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that incorporate exercise, therapeutic modalities, and hands-on techniques to relieve pain and improve mobility.
• Utilize assistive devices and adaptive equipment as necessary, training patients and caregivers in their proper use to enhance self-care and ambulation.
• Document patient treatments and progress meticulously, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with healthcare regulations.
• Reassess patient goals periodically, modifying treatment strategies to match their evolving needs and progress.
• Provide patient and family education on various aspects of physical therapy, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops and seminars, ensuring your methods remain innovative and effective.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults facing various health challenges such as post-surgical recovery, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. Your empathetic approach will foster strong therapeutic relationships, enhancing their self-esteem and encouraging adherence to treatment plans.

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Competence in using computerized documentation systems and standard office software.
• Ability to adapt to various settings and patient needs, demonstrating agility and flexibility in your approach.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in home healthcare settings is a plus, enhancing your ability to work independently within patient homes.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
