Job description

Centerline Communications is seeking a skilled and motivated DAS Technician to join our growing team. The DAS Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and in-building solutions that improve connectivity and coverage for our customers.

We are seeking an experienced DAS Technician to cover the eastern US. Travel a Must. Individual must reside in close proximity to a major airport. Travel will be two weeks at a time with every other weekend at home.

What you will do:

  • DAS installation in both carrier and public safety spaces, with knowledge of OEM and connection types.
  • Individual will be installing maintaining, and troubleshooting issues pertaining to coax cable, fiber optic cable, power cable, etc.
  • Terminate coax cable and power cable.
  • Maintenance of test gear (Anritsu Sweep & PIM) to achieve passing results Cable Troubleshooting Line sweeping and PIM testing
  • Fusion Splicing and Fiber testing.

What you will need:

  • 2-4 years DAS/telecom experience.
  • Experience adhering to schedules, following instructions, self-performing duties and working with professionalism with team members, clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • Must maintain a clean background driving record.
  • OSHA 10, CPR, First Aid and EMT desired.
  • Candidate must be able to work multiple shifts and away from home in all elements.
  • Ability to lift, squat, climb ladders, work above head, lift/maneuver up to 100lbs, stand/walk for long periods.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
