Job description

Product Information Management (PIM) Analyst
About the Role
The Product Information Management (PIM) Analyst will manage, maintain and optimize product data within our Product Information Management system.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Enterworks (or similar PIM platforms such as Stibo, Salsify, Akeneo, or InRiver) and a strong understanding of product data governance, taxonomy and syndication processes.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Enterprise Applications, the PIM Analyst has partial remote work opportunity, with up to 2 days per week in our Bassett, VA or Newton, NC offices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enrich product data within the Enterworks PIM platform, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all product attributes
  • Build and manage data models, taxonomies, hierarchies, and attribute schemas within Enterworks
  • Perform data imports, exports, and bulk updates using Enterworks tools (e.g., Data Manager, Workflow, Business Console)
  • Configure and maintain workflows for data validation, approval, and publishing processes
  • Work with merchandising, marketing and e-commerce teams to gather product data requirements
  • Manage data syndication to downstream channels (websites, partner systems, catalogs and pricebooks)
  • Support integration between Enterworks and other systems (ERP, DAM, e-commerce platforms) via APIs or connectors
  • Create and maintain documentation for data standards, governance policies, and PIM processes
  • Train internal stakeholders on PIM tools, data entry standards, and best practices
  • Generate reports and dashboards on data completeness, quality metrics, and workflow status
  • Assist with PIM system upgrades, testing, and enhancement projects

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in product information management, master data management, or a related data role
  • Hands-on experience with Enterworks PIM (strongly preferred) or comparable platforms (Stibo STEP, Akeneo, Salsify, InRiver, Informatica)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts: attributes, categories, hierarchies, relationships, and taxonomies
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for data analysis and bulk data manipulation
  • Experience with data quality/governance principles and workflow management
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, or other structured data formats used in data feeds/syndication
