Job description

Position Summary:


The Caribbean Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing AMI Group’s distributor and customer relationships across Caribbean markets. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, executing brand strategies, and expanding AMI’s presence with both distributors and direct accounts. The role works closely with internal leadership, suppliers, and regional partners to support AMI’s long-term growth strategy in the Caribbean.


Role & Responsibilities:


Sales & Business Development Tasks:

  • Manage and grow distributor relationships across assigned Caribbean markets, ensuring strong execution and brand visibility.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned with Caribbean and company sales objectives.
  • Identify, develop, and grow new direct customer accounts, including hotels, hotel groups, and regional chains.
  • Support regional and global business development initiatives in partnership with the Sales Director.
  • Represent AMI Group at customer meetings, market visits, trade shows, and industry events.


Brand & Market Execution Tasks:

  • Implement brand marketing, activation, and promotional plans in collaboration with distributors and suppliers.
  • Monitor market performance, including sales trends, pricing, competitive activity, and execution standards.
  • Collect, review, and analyze market data to identify risks, gaps, and growth opportunities.


Operational & Reporting Tasks:

  • Utilize CRM tools, reports, and sales analytics to track performance and inform decision-making.
  • Support sales forecasting, inventory planning, and depletion tracking in coordination with internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, supply chain, and marketing to ensure execution alignment.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably within beverage distribution, wine, spirits, or related industries.
  • Experience working in or with Caribbean markets strongly preferred.
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently across multiple markets.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management, depletion tracking, and sales forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Wine and/or spirits knowledge preferred.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Travel required- 75%-80%
