Job description

Seeking a Trauma Surgeon to join a 230-bed facility in Florida. The candidate must have an active FL license and an active DEA. ATLS required. The candidate must be Board Certified General Surgery & Surgical Critical Care (ACS or Trauma). Must have 2 years of recent trauma/ Acute Care Surgery experience (and case logs to support it) 28 trauma cases with an average of 7 cases per quarter within the last year. Must have clean background/malpractice. 12 hrs primary in-house call followed by 12 hr secondary call from home/ hotel. The surgeons respond to all trauma codes, emergency general surgery & round in the ICU (trauma patients only). There are also a few hours of follow-up clinic 1 day/week with APP.
