What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter routes.
  • Monitor the movement of trucks, trailers, and deliveries while helping to deter unauthorized access, property loss, and other security-related issues at the location.
  • Support daily operations by observing site conditions, communicating with location personnel and/or first responders, and following post orders for logistics and distribution environments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
