Our FS8 family is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and charismatic Head Trainer. FS8 Trainers play a fundamental role within the team and company culture as they lead our classes, working closely with each individual member providing the ultimate FS8 experience. As an FS8 Head Trainer, you will manage the team of full-time and part-time trainers as well as run group training sessions, assess member fitness levels, build a community that keeps our members coming back every day and promote the FS8 Pilates-Tone-Yoga brand throughout our market area.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the FS8 Athletics Staff and Athletic Operations of the FS8 Studio
  • Manage the team of full-time and part-time trainers using the FS8 Methodology 
  • Promote an energetic environment and create a culture of family at FS8
  • Inspire members to fully utilize all FS8 resources to achieve personal fitness goals
  • Conduct in-person, goal-oriented consultations with all trial members
  • Focus on membership acquisition and retention, including conducting referral/lead generation activities
  • Setup the studio for specific FS8 training classes
  • Ensure the studio is impeccably maintained
  • Participate in the monthly FS8 Athletics webinars
  • Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with the coach's team to go over new FS8 phases
  • Ensure coaches are following opening and closing procedures
  • Conduct studio tours
  • Answering phone calls
  • Help with membership sales
 
Qualifications:
  •  All Head Trainers must hold a spring-based reformer certification. Accepted qualifications include Comprehensive, Contemporary Reformer, or Modern Pilates certifications. Accepted certifications include Reformer Level 1–3 or equivalent from recognized providers (such as Balanced Body, Peak, Stott, Club Pilates, BodyBar, or similar), as well as certifications from modern Pilates concepts. Certifications that do not include spring-based training such as Yoga, Barre, CPT, GFI, or Mat Pilates-only do not meet the requirement 
  • Strong background in Pilates (specifically reformer-based training), as well as proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing a team 
  •  Must have CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with members
  • Solid knowledge of biomechanics and exercise physiology
  • Motivated and passionate about health and fitness
  • Reliable and punctual with excellent attention to detail
