Job description

Seeking production workers who will perform a variety of tasks & run a variety of machines.


What You’ll Be Doing:

Will perform a variety of tasks, which require a thorough knowledge of tasks, including operation of a variety of equipment to process material as specified by work order and specific blueprints and diagrams of the part. Involves more complicated parts, assemblies, customer specifications, and handling a large variety of parts that require some fitting adjusting or tighter tolerances. Uses special hand and standard tools to complete parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Others as assigned.

  • May set up tools, gages, and equipment to make adjustments for meeting part specifications.
  • Will operate a crane.
  • Assemble/disassemble metal plates
  • Replace plates and hoses for machine upkeep and maintenance.
  • Possesses good computer skills.
  • Processes more detailed paperwork to meet customer specific requirements for producing, assembly, or packing parts.
  • Operates equipment or hand and special tools using efficient procedures to ensure meeting production standards
  • Performs accurate fitting, adjusting, assembling, straightening or packing parts.
  • Uses necessary measuring tools to ensure required quality standards are met.
  • Keeps all required records and maintains a safe, clean work area.
  • Retains knowledge of numerous part numbers and specifications.
  • Follows detailed verbal and written instructions pertaining to the operation or assembly.

May also perform the following processes:

  • All entry level utility operations:
  • Running Presses, Buffing, Spot welding, Operating special welding equipment, Gas welding, Load jigs, Assembly, Packing, Bending, Routing, Piercing, Deburring, Stretching and contouring, Sawing, Sorting, Drilling, Reworking
  • Helping other operators, operating of forklift and/or cranes, Loading and unloading parts from lines or machines and/or trucks.


Schedule: 2nd shift: 3:00PM –11:30PM Monday - Friday


Qualifications

  • One-to-three months related experience, including: manufacturing or similar environment as parts loader/unloader, machine operator and/or part inspector.
  • Computer Skills are required - to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software and ability to learn how to new programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 regularly and 75 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to work shift assigned and overtime as needed


Preferred

  • Consistent experience in manufacturing performing machine set-up, part inspections and blueprint reading is preferred.
  • Heat treat experience is preferred
  • Experience operating a crane is preferred
  • Roll Line experience is preferred
