Tell us about the unit(s):

·         Number of Beds – 19 beds, 10 PICU and 9 Peds

·         Number of Staff – 27 staff in total

·         Type of staff:

o    Day Shift 1 Charge, 3-4 Nurses

o    Night Shift 1 Charge, 3-4 Nurses

·         Patient Ratios: 1:2 PICU; 1:3 IMC (1:4 IMC with PCT), 1:5 Peds (1:6 Peds with PCT)

·         Type of equipment – Hillrom Beds, GC monitors, ICU Medial plum 360  Pumps and Med fusion syringe pumps

·         EMR –Meditech

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·         2+ years Nursing, Pediatric, Pediatric ICU experience

BLS, ALS, PALS

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·          Pediatric and Pediatric ICU Experience

·         Pediatric Experience

·           Lumbar Punctures

·          Intubations

·         Chest tube placements
