**Hospitalist Opportunity**
**Location: Vincennes, IN**
**ABMS/AOA Board Certified or Board Eligible**
•Looking for a physician-led collegial team with manageable patient load, APP support, and flexible block scheduling
•Open positions tend to fill quickly
•Flexible practice options – Hospitalist role can be combined with a Faculty Role or an Outpatient Role if desired
Practice Details:
•7 on/7 off or other flexible block scheduling options
•Average patient census: 13–16 patients
•Specialists available: PulmCC, GI, Urology, Ortho, Interventional Cardiology, IR, ID, Neuro, Nephrology, Gen Surg, and more
•Established Hospitalist team of physicians with Advanced Practice Providers covering heaviest admission times
•Privileges can include procedures if desired
•APPs cover busiest admission times to optimally manage hospital admissions
•Hospitalist team has access to computer rooms on each floor, plus new lounge and offices on top floor of inpatient tower
•Dedicated Physician Liaison to assist with establishing relationships with specialists for consults
•On-site ACGME-accredited Indiana University School of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency program
•4-time Magnet Designated hospital, Level 3 Trauma Center, and Primary Stroke Center
Compensation and Benefits:
•Competitive base salary with added compensation for incentive shifts and quarterly quality bonus

Requirements:
•ACLS certification
•Graduation from a medical or osteopathic school approved by the Indiana Medical Licensing Board
•Completed a residency in General Internal Medicine or Med-Peds approved by the ACGME or AOA
•ABMS/AOA Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of training completion
•Ability and desire to offer occasional Basic/Non-Complex Vent Management alongside 24-hour PulmCC team
