Job description

Anderson Farms is looking for several Zone Team Leads for our Fall Festival!

Zone Leads provide leadership and support within their assigned area while working alongside team members throughout each shift. This is a hands-on leadership position, and Zone Leads are expected to perform the same duties as the employees they supervise. In addition to leading their team, Zone Leads are responsible for overseeing the attractions and surrounding areas within their designated zone to ensure they are safe, clean, well-stocked, and operating efficiently.Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

North Zone Lead

This position is responsible for supporting the Yard Manager on duty by overseeing all Zone team members to ensure required tasks are completed on time. This position is responsible for team members at Jump Pads, Info Booth, Duck Races, Corn Maze Entrance and Games, Night Zone, Main Fire Pit, Antique Barn, General Store, Pumpkinland, Employee Gate, and hired bands. This person will communicate with the yard manager on duty. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot, problem solve, manage people, and keep attractions up and running while being used by thousands of guests.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Opening and closing duties for attractions in the zone.
  • Oversee all North Zone team members, assign tasks, and manage breaks
  • Assisting with upkeep, safety, and repairs of the attractions and structures
  • Assist with seasonal staff training and orientation
  • Helping bands in and out of the property
  • Change out empty gourd boxes and replace with full ones in the morning when Picking Lead is not available
  • Keep track of General store stock of produce and bottled beverages
  • Monitor and refill stock of produce in Pumpkinland when Picking Lead is not available

Weekend Day North Zone Lead shift: Saturday and Sundays 8 am-5pm (times may be flexible). Friday days also if possible but not required. May have weekday shifts available.

Weekend Night North Zone Lead shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Bonus if you can do Thursday nights as well. Shifts begin around 4:30pm and end around 10:30 pm on Thursday and Sunday nights and 11:30 pm on Friday and Saturday nights (times may be flexible).

Week Day North Zone Lead Shift: Monday - Friday 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

South Zone Lead

This position is responsible for supporting the Yard Manager on duty by overseeing all Zone team members to ensure required tasks are completed on time. This position is responsible for team members at Trikes, Barrel Train, Animals, Roller Slide, Tire Mountain, Kiddie Korral, Low Ropes Course, Mookie's Play Yard, Tennis Ball Cannons, Pumpkin Cannon, Gem Mining Sluice, Magicians, Paint a Pumpkin and Entrance/Exit Gate. This person will communicate with the yard manager on duty. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot, problem solve, manage people, and keep attractions up and running while being used by thousands of guests.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Opening and closing duties for attractions in the zone
  • Oversee South Zone team members and assign tasks and manage breaks
  • Assisting with upkeep, safety, and repairs of the attractions and structures
  • Assist with seasonal staff training and orientation
  • Helping magicians in and out of the property
  • Assisting in restocking Gem Mining
  • Check in with paint a pumpkin and make sure they have enough small pumpkins

Weekend Day South Zone Lead shift: Saturday and Sundays 8:30 am-5pm (times may be flexible). Friday days also if possible but not required. May have weekday shifts available.

Weekend Night South Zone Lead shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Bonus if you can do Thursday nights as well. Shifts begin around 4:30pm and end around 10:30 pm on Thursday and Sunday nights and 11:30 pm on Friday and Saturday nights (times may be flexible).
