JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSABILITIES: 

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing tasks involved in supporting specialty pharmacy operations with the warehouse and distribution of pharmacy dispenses ready to ship to patients and physicians’ offices with contracted delivery carriers.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Accountable for receiving supplies, scanning packages for delivery, picking, packing, auditing and coordination with contracted carriers for merchandise to delivered to the customers.
  • Responsible de rotar y rellenar los icepacks
  • Tracks all inbound and outbound packages/items through to ensure accountability in shipments ready to deliver.
  • Accountable for the moving the packages that are ready for delivery from the pharmacy packaging area to the temperature-controlled rooms for carrier pick-up
  • Accountable for the distribution of packages to assigned routes as per logistics/delivery plan.
  • Verifies final packages and ensures entry into the delivery management system.
  • Operates a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all areas of the temperature-controlled room and warehouse are well maintained, kept orderly and free of debris.
  • Accountable for the cleanliness and organization of the proper equipment including bins.
  • Maintains quality standards set forth by warehouse management.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise/equipment weighing approximately 50 to 80 pounds. 
  • Other tasks that could be assigned in order to comply with operational needs

EQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES: 

Education and Experience: 

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • At least six (6) months of previous experience in similar position or in a warehouse or distribution facility.

Required Skills: 

  • Ability to communicate effectively (read, write, speak) in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to perform and resolve simple arithmetic exercises.
  • Proactive team player.
