Description
Wisconsin Distributors is seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Order Selector/Picker to join our warehouse team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are accurately selected, built, and loaded for delivery. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, staying active throughout the day, and being part of a team that keeps products moving efficiently, we'd love to hear from you. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Locate products throughout the warehouse using order sheets.
  • Efficiently and accurately pull products from warehouse racking and pallets.
  • Build bulk customer orders on pallets from warehouse inventory.
  • Verify the correct number and type of products are selected and loaded.
  • Wrap completed orders prior to loading onto delivery trucks.
  • Load trucks according to order instructions using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Schedule
  • Sunday through Thursday, starting at either 10:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m.

Requirements
Education & Work Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience working in a warehouse setting a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Experience operating forklifts and/or pallet jacks preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work overtime when business needs require.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and warehouse documentation.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and tools, including computers, iPads, hoists, hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and various hand tools.
