Job Title: Shipping/Quality Control Clerk
Department: Shipping/Quality Control
Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports To: QC/Shipping Lead
Supervises: No
Work Location: Warehouse - Raleigh, NC


Job Summary

As a Shipping/Quality Control Clerk at Custom Patch Hats, you'll play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly from start to finish. You'll prepare outgoing shipments and help ensure every product leaving our warehouse meets CPH's high standards for quality. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork help ensure each order reaches our customers on time and in top condition.


Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Logistics

  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders according to the daily schedule.
  • Select the right boxes, packaging, and shipping methods to minimize cost and damage.
  • Print and apply shipping labels accurately.
  • Maintain organized workstations and clear communication with the Receiving and Quality Assurance Leads

Quality Control

  • Inspect hats and other products following CPH's quality standards.
  • Document and photograph inspected items as needed.
  • Record any quality issues or rework in the CPH manufacturing system.
  • Communicate quality concerns and outcomes with the QC/Shipping Lead.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process or product issues early.

Safety & Equipment

  • Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment safely and perform routine checks.
  • Follow all safety rules, quality service standards, and warehouse procedures.
  • Keep the workspace clean, organized, and hazard-free.

Schedule


Full-time: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Physical Demands
