Job Summary:
The Order Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and staging electrical products and materials for customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures timely and precise fulfillment of orders while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Fulfillment:
    • Pick and pack electrical products according to customer orders using pick tickets or RF scanners.
    • Verify item numbers, quantities, and descriptions for accuracy.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Report discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and according to company policy.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area following OSHA and company safety guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
    • Support other warehouse tasks as needed (receiving, stocking, shipping).

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
  • Experience driving equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic math and reading skills for order verification.
  • Familiarity with electrical products is a plus.
