Job description

Happy Kids Academy Boca is a licensed preschool serving children ages 2–5. We are seeking a patient, creative Piano Teacher who enjoys introducing young children to music in a fun, age-appropriate way.
Position Overview

The Piano Teacher will lead small-group and individual music sessions designed specifically for preschool-aged children. This role focuses on building a love for music through rhythm, movement, listening, and basic piano exposure—not formal performance training.
Responsibilities

  • Teach piano and music fundamentals to children ages 2–5
  • Use age-appropriate methods (songs, movement, games, rhythm)
  • Create a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and administration
  • Maintain a safe and organized instructional space
  • Follow all preschool policies and Florida DCF requirements
Qualifications

  • Experience teaching piano or early childhood music (preferred)
  • Experience working with young children (preschool or early childhood setting preferred)
  • Patience, warmth, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners
  • Ability to adapt lessons to short attention spans
  • Must meet Florida DCF requirements (background screening, training, or willingness to obtain)
