Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients who have undergone orthopedic surgeries or suffered injuries, assessing their movement patterns, strengths, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment goals in conjunction with the latest best practices in physical therapy.
• Assist patients with rehabilitation equipment and ensure they are educated on their proper use to promote independence.
• Facilitate training sessions for patients and their families on self-management strategies and therapeutic exercises to maintain recovery at home.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and keeping up-to-date with current research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic conditions. Your role will involve tailoring treatment to meet the specific needs of each patient, fostering trust, and encouraging compliance with their rehabilitation programs. Your ability to connect with patients from varied backgrounds will be essential in facilitating their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is essential to practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• A commitment to continuing education and professional growth within the field of Physiotherapy.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and other administrative technologies to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
