Work Environment

Located in the scenic Santa Rosa Beach area, our rehabilitation facility is designed to provide a healing space where patients can feel comfortable and supported. The work setting is dynamic and onsite, encouraging teamwork and daily collaboration among skilled therapists and healthcare professionals. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized physical therapy interventions tailored to each patient's unique needs and health objectives.
• Manage a focused patient caseload to ensure dedicated attention and time for hands-on treatment, assessment, and rehabilitation.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to perform thorough evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and execute effective therapeutic interventions.
• Implement evidence-based practices that prioritize non-surgical treatment options to enhance mobility and reduce pain, ultimately improving patients' overall function.
• Create and adapt comprehensive fitness and wellness programs that align with specific patient profiles, including addressing strength, flexibility, and coordination challenges.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment protocols using EMR software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Continuously monitor patients' progress, evaluating the efficacy of treatment protocols and making adjustments as necessary.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process by establishing positive therapeutic relationships and providing emotional support.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals in our facility to ensure holistic patient care and effective outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role at Wellstar Physiotherapy, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and general mobility impairments. Our patient-centered approach emphasizes individualized care and empowerment, addressing each person’s unique circumstances and health challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with a clean disciplinary record.
• Proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques, demonstrating hands-on clinical skills.
• Strong foundation in developing and implementing successful exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Competence in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for efficient and accurate patient documentation.
• A commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practice supported by current research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• A track record of delivering successful patient outcomes through individualized care plans.
• Advanced training or specialization in manual therapy or exercise science.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
