This position is intended for individuals committed to quality physics education and successful applicants must demonstrate exceptional ability and innovation in teaching.Louisiana Tech University has been consistently ranked in the top 200 best colleges and universities by US News & World Report. Physics is part of the College of Engineering and Science, which offers a unique multidisciplinary, team-oriented educational and research environment (http://coes.latech.edu/). To build a diverse workforce the College encourages applications from individuals with disabilities, minorities, veterans and women.Lecturer candidates must have an earned doctorate in Physics, Astronomy, Physics Education or a very closely related field. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, have strong teaching skills, display a commitment to high-quality professional service, and will actively participate in program and college responsibilities, including service on committees and directing undergraduate research.
