We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Physician Assistant to join our Cooper Care Alliance team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families across all ages, focusing on prevention, wellness, and the management of chronic and acute conditions in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care to a diverse patient population.
  • Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and manage treatment plans, including prescribing medications and coordinating referrals.
  • Promote preventive care and health education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health, and specialists.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

The Physician Assistant is a skilled person, qualified in academic and clinical education to provide patient services under the supervision of a staff physician both in a clinical office and operating room environment. 


Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant is required


Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient care setting preferred.

Experience with electronic health records (e.g., Epic).


Board certification as Physician Assistant

Active New Jersey License

American Heart Association BLS 


  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Interest in population health, quality improvement, or teaching.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
