You may face challenges such as repetitive strain, long hours on your feet, or lifting heavy objects. Preparing for these challenges involves maintaining good physical fitness, learning ergonomic techniques, and staying hydrated. Many employers also provide safety training and encourage regular breaks to support your well-being. Health and wellness jobs outside of fitness may require going to medical school or getting some other type of training. This is a particularly broad category of jobs, so you may have a hard time finding positions that match your education and experience. Consider narrowing your search to focus on a specific industry or job title. Fulfilling the responsibilities and duties of a physically active job requires physical strength and stamina, the ability to maintain an active lifestyle, and excellent communication skills.
