Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, allowing you to provide in-home care to patients. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring that our patients receive consistent and high-quality treatment. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including strength, mobility, and pain levels, to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement personalized therapeutic interventions that focus on improving mobility, increasing strength, enhancing balance and flexibility, and relieving pain.
  • Participate in clinical teaching and mentorship of physical therapy interns, students, and residents, fostering the next generation of physical therapy professionals.
  • Organize and present at least one annual in-service training session to enhance staff understanding of clinical practices and emerging techniques.
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for clinical research and contribute to studies within your area of expertise.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. You will work with a diverse population, including elderly patients, athletes, and individuals requiring post-operative rehabilitation. Understanding each patient’s unique history and current physical challenges is essential in developing effective treatment strategies that lead to positive outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s Degree.
  • Active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families, as well as fellow healthcare professionals.
Preferred Experience
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.
  • Experience in home care settings, understanding the challenges and rewards that come with providing therapy in a patient’s home.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
