Graceful Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the rehabilitation journey of patients recovering from orthopedic conditions. As a key member of our outpatient clinic, you will be responsible for developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that enhance mobility, strengthen physical capabilities, alleviate pain, and restore functional independence.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our outpatient office in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including orthopedic surgeons, occupational therapists, and administrative staff, all committed to delivering optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ physical conditions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific orthopedic injuries, which may include strategies for improving strength, flexibility, balance, and pain management.
  • Engage patients in targeted therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and utilize specialized equipment as needed to support their rehabilitation goals.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual responses and evolving needs.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and communicate effectively with patients regarding their rehabilitation process.
  • Participate in clinical teaching by providing guidance to physical therapy interns and new staff, ensuring they are well-versed in best practices.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on clinical topics at least annually as part of ongoing staff education initiatives.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and may engage in clinical research projects in collaboration with management.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This role requires a deep understanding of orthopedic principles and a compassionate approach to restoring patients' function, helping them regain confidence and achieve their fitness goals.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current and active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
