Why Join SCCU?

  • Member-Focused Mission: Be part of a not-for-profit organization that reinvests in its members.

  • Conduct facility risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, branch inspections, and security compliance reviews; recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead investigations involving security incidents, theft, vandalism, workplace violence, unauthorized access, and related events, including coordination with law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.
  • Develop emergency response, crisis management, business continuity, and disaster recovery security procedures; conduct drills and security awareness exercises.
  • Manage security vendors, service agreements, project scopes, system maintenance, budget planning, reporting, audits, and compliance documentation.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.

Manager, Physical Security Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, business administration, or a related field required.
    • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive physical security management experience required.
  • Experience managing access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection systems required.
  • Experience managing security programs across multiple facilities or retail locations preferred.
  • Experience within banking, financial services, lending institutions, corporate real estate, or highly regulated industries preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security principles, risk management, crime prevention methods, electronic access control systems, CCTV/video management systems, alarm monitoring platforms, security system design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Strong investigative, analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, project management, vendor management, and collaboration skills.

Manager, Physical Security Compensation

  • Starting Salary: $99,000 - $104,000
  • Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for ONE SCCU Annual Bonus.

  • Health & Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus an Employee Assistance Program.
  • Financial Perks: 401(k) match (5%), HSA match, and SCCU-paid insurance (short/long-term disability, life insurance).
  • Education Support: Tuition reimbursement after one year of service.
  • Generous Time Off: 20+ days of PTO, birthday PTO, and 11 federal holidays.
  • Exclusive Discounts: Lower rates on loans, credit cards, and no fee SCCU accounts!

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm schedule, with travel to retail locations as needed.
