Job description

Reports to: Physical Security Manager


Functions Supervised: Access Control Specialist, Central Station Operators, Projects, and Systems Coordinators.


Primary Functions: Manage, develop, implement, maintain the Security Access card, and key Systems and the Emergency Preparedness Program. Supervise Security Access Control Specialist. Video User Management.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Security Access Card program, Security Key Program.
  2. Monitor and respond to card and key access control issues.
  3. Oversee the distribution of keys, access cards and equipment to authorized users.
  4. Assist the security management team with coordinating and responding to service issues related to alarms, card access and Kaba locks.
  5. Provide alternate back up for billing and invoicing management for the Security Projects and Systems Supervisor (SPSS).
  6. Work with access control team to provide visitor information and coordinate visitor or vendor movement.
  7. Manage the Emergency Preparedness program, facilitate emergency evacuation drills.
  8. Oversee video user and access management.
  9. Implement and maintain the Kaba Mas Lock Program, coordinate trouble shooting solutions for lock issues and create lock reports per prescribed procedure.
  10. Interact and liaison with PDT business teams to ensure Physical Security objectives and initiatives for security programs and systems are met.
  11. Provide visitor information and coordinate visitor or vendor access movement, event coordination.
  12. Oversee the distribution of keys, access cards and equipment to authorized users.
  13. Generate and maintain card/key access departmental and audit reports and provided to the Physical Security Manager (PSM).
  14. Review with the PSM the annual Physical Security COOP plans, security Blue Book and internal department policies and procedures, draft monthly board reports.
  15. Ensure all incident reports are completed, logged, and sent to the manager.
  16. Review with the PSM the Physical Security Roadmap and ensure milestones and objectives are met.
  17. Review Physical Security Vendor contracts with the PSM and the SPSS.
  18. Participate with the security management team with all branch security safety and training development.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Security, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field.


Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Four years’ experience in the corporate security field or law enforcement business administration, with at least two years in a supervisory/management role.


Experience/Skills: Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively and be able to remain calm and react appropriately in an emergency situation. Strong written communication skills and proficiency in end user computer technologies required. This position requires a valid driver's license, acceptable and insurable driving record, pre-employment and random drug testing.

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.
