A Physical Security Analyst typically earns less than $200,000 annually, as this salary level is more common in senior cybersecurity roles such as security architects or chief information security officers. Is SOC 1 entry level?

A SOC 1 (Service Organization Control 1) report is an audit report used by organizations to demonstrate controls over financial reporting, and it is not a job role. For a Physical Security Analyst, entry-level positions typically require relevant certifications, such as security or IT certifications, and some experience, but SOC 1 itself is not an entry-level position or role.

Familiarity with security systems (such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems), as well as certifications like PSP (Physical Security Professional) or CPP (Certified Protection Professional), is highly beneficial.
