Job description

We're seeking general laborers for contract assignments, typically varying from 3-6 months in length and all coming with the likeliness of an extension or conversion to a direct hire employee once the contract is completed!

The Laborer performs a variety of manual labor tasks under direct supervision. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, supporting a team, and working outdoors in varying conditions.

Job Title: General Laborer
Location: Monticello, IN
Pay Rate: $18.00-20.00/hour
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lift and move materials as directed
  • Load and unload vehicles
  • Dig, refill holes, and assist with site cleanup
  • Perform general labor activities as needed
  • Follow directions from supervisors and perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Must have 6inch lace up work boots
  • 0–4 years of prior related experience
Work Environment:
  • Physical labor is a major component of the role
