Location: Ontario, California (US)- On-Site
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Contract: August 24, 2026 - December 31, 2026
Pay Rate: $50-$60/hour
Potential: Temp-to-Perm opportunity
Travel: 25-50% travel to assigned facilities, including Los Angeles and Las Vegas

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support leaders and employees at a large, fast-paced manufacturing operation. This role will serve as a trusted HR advisor, partnering with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, manage employee relations, support talent initiatives, and ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working directly with employees and leaders and can confidently navigate employee relations, performance management, organizational change, and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with leaders and employees on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and HR-related matters.
* Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR policies, employee issues, performance, and disciplinary processes.
* Support talent acquisition, staffing, onboarding, employee development, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
* Lead and support workplace investigations and ensure employee relations matters are appropriately documented and resolved.
* Drive employee engagement, culture, organizational development, and change management initiatives.
* Ensure consistent application of company policies and compliance with applicable federal and state employment regulations.
* Support compensation, benefits, annual enrollment, and employee/leadership training programs.
* Analyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and support fact-based decision-making.
* Serve as an HR representative on facility leadership teams and provide hands-on HR support across assigned locations.
* Provide occasional after-hours and weekend support for critical issues within 24/7 operations.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
* 4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist or HRBP capacity.
* Experience supporting manufacturing, consumer products, or other fast-paced operational environments preferred.
* Strong knowledge of employment regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA.
* Demonstrated experience with employee relations, investigations, performance management, talent management, and HR compliance.
* Experience supporting benefits administration and annual enrollment.
* Strong coaching, communication, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Ability to build credibility and relationships with employees and leaders at all organizational levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use HR data to drive decisions.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
* PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between assigned facilities.
