PHP Developer with MySQL

Our Vernon Hills, IL client is seeking a minimum of 5+ years of development experience with PHP.   Understands object-oriented programming principles and techniques with a minimum of 2+ years of database experience with MySQL.  A developer that believes strongly in good design, usability and efficiency, exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:   

  • Building dynamic web applications using PHP, MySQL, NGINX, HTML5, etc.  
  • Solving problems, bugs, and compatibility issues.    
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
  • Develop and deploy new features.
  • Introduce the latest technologies and influence code development methodologies.
  • Collaborate in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery.  

Desired (but not required): Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Apache); MongoDB, Bootstrap, Kohana.
