We are looking for a Photography Manager who loves to mentor and lead a team through positivity and example. We need a Photography Manager who has incredible attention to detail and superior organizational skills is a must to join our team. Photography Manager will thrive in this position if you are self-motivated, able to meet strict deadlines and love photography and working with children.

Nationwide Studios, Inc. is the technology leader in the youth portrait photography industry.  Our "Legacy Studios"  division specializes in high volume K-12 School & Sports Photography. We offer custom comprehensive service and photography products to meet the needs of every school type and grade level.

Job Description:

Nationwide Studios has an immediate opening for a Photography Manager. This position will oversee a team of Photographers and handle the finances of a given territory. This Photography Manager will analyze and respond to issues and challenges within your territory. You will communicate with internal personnel to best handle any issues that may arise. You will manage expenses, scheduling, disciplinary action, product delivery and local training.

Your duties will include:

  • Coordinate and schedule Photographers and Photographer Assistants for photoshoots at schools
  • Assure all schedules including sports are properly entered in our customer relationship management software (CRM)
  • Upload images for yearbooks through various publishing sites
  • Coordinate and execute training plan for Photographers and Photographer Assistants
  • Inventory control of all existing photography equipment and order new equipment when needed
  • Manage labor costs, approve hours and customer expenses
  • Recruit, interview and recommend Photographers and Photographer Assistants for positions within the territory
  • Manage Photographers from empowering them to using progressive discipline, including firing when needed
  • Create accountability and communication plan for territory personnel utilizing Microsoft Office 365 group chat software called TEAMs
  • Visit photoshoots and photograph as needed
  • Always provides the highest level of customer service

The skills and experience required for this position include:

  • Basic photography knowledge
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficient typing skills
  • Above average organizational and time management skills
  • Must have reliable transportation, auto insurance and a valid driver’s license
  • Must have reliable internet and able to use TEAMs on a mobile devise
  • The ability to build solid relationships with customers
  • Strong and engaging phone voice with clear presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
