Job description

10 Hours/Week | Weekday Daytime (9 AM–5 PM)
*Reliable Vehicle Required

Before we get into the details, here’s the most important thing to know...

We know the job title says “Real Estate Photographer,” but the truth is, we’re not photographers first. We’re customer service reps who happen to hold a camera!

At our core, this role is about how you show up with people. If you’re the type of person who can walk into a home, connect easily, make someone feel comfortable, and represent a brand well, you’re in the right place.

We can absolutely teach you the photography side. What we can’t teach is warmth, professionalism, and great people skills, and that’s what matters most here.

About the Role

We’re looking for an upbeat, reliable, and service-driven professional to join our growing real estate media team in the Minneapolis area.

This is more than a photography job - you’ll be the face of our brand in the field. You’ll work directly with real estate agents and homeowners, capture high-quality listing media, and deliver a polished, white-glove client experience every time.

Schedule & Availability

  • Weekday daytime availability (9 AM–5 PM)
  • Approximately 10 hours per week
  • Travel required throughout the Minneapolis area
  • Occasional appointments up to 2 hours away (one way)
  • Flexible schedule with strong emphasis on reliability
  • Mileage reimbursement provided between appointments

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to residential properties for scheduled shoots
  • Capture interior and exterior listing media using a structured shot list
  • Represent our brand professionally with clients
  • Deliver a friendly, high-level customer experience
  • Communicate clearly and confidently on-site
  • Upload media after each shoot (no editing required)
  • Stay organized and consistent across appointments

Compensation & Growth

  • Paid training: $17/hour
  • Standard shoots: $20 per unit (≈ 60 minutes on-site)
  • Drone-certified shoots: $25/hour
  • Video & add-ons: Variable based on project
  • Mileage reimbursement: $0.30/mile (between appointments)

Strong growth potential into higher-paying services and more consistent work as you develop in the role.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Upbeat, personable, and professional attitude
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Coachable and open to feedback
  • Comfortable with frequent driving and travel
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Willing to share an Instagram profile (preferred)

This Role May NOT Be a Fit If You:

  • Need guaranteed or consistent weekly hours
  • Are not comfortable with occasional long-distance travel
  • Prefer minimal interaction with clients
  • Struggle with flexible scheduling

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • No experience required—paid training provided
  • Flexible, part-time schedule
  • Opportunity to build creative and media skills
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Career growth into drone, video, and advanced services
  • Work in a fast-growing, team-oriented environment

A Quick Note

This is a structured, team-based role. It’s not a freelance position where you set your own style or process.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working within a system
  • Takes pride in representing a brand
  • Wants to grow with a company long-term

If you’re dependable, customer-focused, and excited to be part of a growing team, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’re outgoing, dependable, and excited to grow in a people-focused, creative role - we’d love to hear from you!
