SUMMARY

The Photographer II uses photographic and video equipment to capture a subject, place, or event. Understands and adheres to photography/videography guidelines and standards. Has thorough knowledge and experience with concepts like composition, lighting, and balance. Helps sift through content to identify valuable photos or videos. May stage subjects or areas for capture and may work directly with clients.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance at the FAA VAP for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Captures high-quality images for various projects, including marketing campaigns, events, editorial, product photography, and more.

Collaborates with clients and team members to develop creative concepts that align with project goals and brand identity.

Edits and retouches images using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to ensure the final product meets quality standards.

Maintains and manages photography equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and up to date with industry standards.

Communicates effectively with clients to understand their needs, present ideas, and ensure satisfaction throughout the photography process.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two to four (2-4) years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers, printers, and light traffic.
