What are photobooth attendants and what do they do?

Photobooth attendants are professionals who set up, operate, and manage photobooths at events such as weddings, parties, and corporate functions. Their responsibilities include assembling the photobooth equipment, assisting guests with taking photos, troubleshooting any technical issues, and ensuring that prints or digital copies are delivered to guests. They also help maintain a fun atmosphere and may provide props or guide guests on how to use the photobooth. By handling logistics and assisting guests, photobooth attendants help ensure a seamless and enjoyable photo experience at events.

What are some common challenges faced by photobooth operators during events, and how can these be managed?

Photobooth operators often encounter challenges such as technical malfunctions with printers or cameras, managing large crowds, and ensuring quick setup and breakdown within tight event schedules. To handle these issues, it's important to perform thorough equipment checks before events, have backup supplies on hand, and develop efficient workflows for guest interactions. Good communication with event coordinators and a proactive approach to troubleshooting can help ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for guests.

What is the difference between Photobooth vs Event Photographer?

AspectPhotoboothEvent Photographer

The roles often overlap but differ mainly in scope, skill requirements, and output style.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Photobooth Operator, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Photobooth Operator, you need basic photography knowledge, technical troubleshooting ability, and customer service skills, often supported by experience with event setup or hospitality. Familiarity with digital cameras, photo printers, touchscreen interfaces, and specialized photobooth software like Darkroom or Breeze is typically required. Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail help you engage guests and quickly resolve issues on-site. These skills ensure smooth event execution, satisfied clients, and reliable operation of equipment in dynamic event environments.

About Us
Join the team behind the nationโ€™s most iconic photobooths.
At Majestic Photobooth, we create unforgettable photo experiences for brands, venues, and events across the country. Whether itโ€™s a high-end brand activation in NYC or a neighborhood bar in Nashville, our booths bring people together and make moments last.

ย

Founded in 2006, Majestic has grown into one of the countryโ€™s leading experiential photobooth companiesโ€”blending technology, design, and nostalgia to create experiences people remember.

Our team powers experiences for some of the worldโ€™s most recognized brands, venues, and events.

Why Now?

Majestic is entering a major growth chapter.

After years of building a nationally recognized brand, weโ€™re rapidly expanding our venue footprint, operational infrastructure, and experiential capabilities across the country. Weโ€™re building the systems, team, and technology to scale into the future of photobooths.

That means this is an opportunity to join a fast-moving company where your work will directly shape how we grow.

ย The Role

Weโ€™re hiring a Supply Chain, Facilities & Safety Manager to own and strengthen several of the companyโ€™s most critical operational functions: procurement, inventory management, facilities operations, company asset management, and workplace safety.

This is not a maintenance-only or purchasing-only role. This is a highly cross-functional leadership position built for someone who can create systems, drive accountability, manage vendors and projects, improve operational infrastructure, and help scale the organization responsibly.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on โ€” someone equally comfortable negotiating supplier terms, conducting a facility walkthrough, leading a safety audit, or jumping onto the production floor when needed.

  • Procurement operations, inventory management, and vendor relationships
  • Facility maintenance, infrastructure projects, and contractor management
  • Company-wide asset tracking and operational equipment oversight
  • Workplace safety programs, compliance systems, and safety training
  • ISO 45001 certification readiness and safety program development
  • Operational process improvement and infrastructure scalability

Ideal CandidateYou Might Be a Great Fit Ifโ€ฆ
  • You naturally create structure, organization, and accountability
  • You proactively solve problems before they impact operations
  • You enjoy building systems and improving workflows from the ground up
  • Youโ€™re comfortable managing vendors, contractors, projects, and operational priorities simultaneously
  • You can balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments where ownership and adaptability are critical
  • You believe safety, operational excellence, and accountability go hand in hand

QualificationsWhat Weโ€™re Looking ForEducation
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Facilities Management, Safety, or related field preferred
  • Relevant certifications in safety, facilities, supply chain, or operations management are a plus
Experience
  • Experience in supply chain management, procurement, facilities operations, warehouse operations, or operational leadership required
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, inventory systems, and operational infrastructure preferred
  • Experience developing workplace safety programs and conducting safety audits strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting ISO certification initiatives or safety compliance programs is highly desirable
  • Experience working in manufacturing, production, logistics, or operational environments preferred
Skills
  • Strong operational leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent project management and prioritization abilities
  • Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Ability to identify operational risks and implement scalable solutions
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational execution
Tools & Software
  • Google Workspace
  • Inventory and procurement tracking systems
